Izzy Ness, french moroccan, lives in Pantin. Musician, dancer, writer, photographer. Member of the Hip Tap Project and Corps & Graphie 2028 collective. Author of TARAB podcast (Binge Audio 2019). Instruments include piano, guitar, oud, spoons, and "that thing on the table" - if it makes a derdeg sound, it counts. She writes music for films that don't exist yet, photographs feelings she can't name, and catches stray words before they become poems without her. Inspired by Yann Tiersen (a proud 2000s kid, I am!), gnawa rhythms, Erik Satie's ghostly atmosphere, Chilly Gonzales, Oum, Nass El Ghiwane, Djazia Satour, jazz, french rap. She moves between the many layers of her identity to create et draw inspiration from, always leaving the doors open. Current obsessions: breakfast with her girlfriend ; every cat/dog she meets on the street ; summer fruits, especially watermelon 🍉
